ITINERARY

DAY 1: Athens- arrival

Arrive in Athens and transfer to your hotel

Rest of the  day is free- overnight in Athens

DAY 2: Athens- city tour with the Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum

Breakfast in the hotel

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel or near by spot and join a half-day guided tour of Athens, including a bus tour at the Panathenaic Stadium, the Presidential residence, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). Then you will proceed with a guided visit of the Acropolis and finally the New Acropolis Museum

After the end of the tour transfer back to your hotel for a free afternoon

Overnight in Athens

DAY 3: Athens- full day tour to Mycenae & Epidavros

Breakfast in the hotel

Depart for Argolis via the Corinth canal (short stop for photos) and then continue to Mycenae
In the second millennium BC, Mycenae was one of the major centers of Greek civilization, a military stronghold which dominated much of southern Greece. The period of Greek history from about 1600 BC to about 1100 BC is called Mycenaean in reference to Mycenae. At its height in 1350 BC, the citadel and lower town had a population of 30,000 and an area of 32 hectares
Visit the archaeological site and the Tomb of Agamemnon

Lunch break and continue to Epidaurus and visit the Ancient theatre, world famous for its outstanding acoustics
The Asclepieion at Epidaurus was the most celebrated healing center of the Classical world, the place where ill people went in the hope of being cured. Found in the sanctuary, there was a guest house of 160 guestrooms. There are also mineral springs in the vicinity which may have been used in healing. The sanctuary of Asclepius and is an UNESCO World Heritage Site

In the afternoon depart to Athens- overnight in Athens

DAY 4: Athens- full day tour to Delphi

Breakfast in the hotel

Morning departure to Delphi. At the foot of Mount Parnassos, lies the Pan-Hellenic sanctuary of Delphi, which was the most famous Oracle of ancient Greece. Delphi is the second-most important archaeological site in Greece (after the Acropolis in Athens) and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Delphi, dates to the ninth century B.C. and whose allure includes an amazing hillside setting and ruins that will intrigue even the most sceptical visitors

Guided tour at the archaeological site and the Museum

Free time for lunch and then drive back to Athens

Arrive in Athens in the afternoon- balance of the dat at leisure

DAY 5: Athens- one day cruise to Hydra, Poros and Aegina islands

 Today you will start with an early breakfast in your hotel as around 7 am you will be picked up and depart to the port for embarkation on your ONE DAY CRUISE ship to 3 Greek Islands: Hydra- Poros and Aegina

After departure, the ship’s guide and the hostesses will ask you to assemble in one of the main lounges of the ship to get acquainted and to give you all the information concerning the ship, the program of the cruise and the islands and to make sure you will have a to have a pleasant day

Hydra
The favorite island of the jet set, whose old traditional beautiful stone houses and mansions silently witness to a long and turbulent story. The small narrow stone paved streets await you to explore them on foot or by the island’s traditional “vehicle” the saddled donkeys… captivating walks along the old seaside promenade crystal clear waters, radiant fine craft shops and the beauty of Hydra will conquer you! Our stay in Hydra is about 2 hours.

Poros
Although it is the smallest of the three islands that we visit, its attraction is the narrow strait offering a most enchanting view of the town of Poros. Our stay in Poros is about 1 hour.

Aegina
The largest of the three islands. Apart from its harbor, there are optional organized tours by air conditioned busses visiting the Temple of Afea (archeological site) or the Church of Saint Nektarios, whose relics are display. The above mentioned tours are optional and are sold on board the ship. Our stay in Aegina is about 2 hours

On our way back to Marina Flisvos, a traditional Greek folk show with singers and dancers will entertain you up to the final moment as the ship arrives at Marina Flisvos

Upon arrival at the port (around 19 pm) you will be transferred back to your hotel in Athens- overnight in Athens

DAY 6: Athens- free day and folklore dinner 

Breakfast in the hotel

Take the day free at leisure in the city to shop and discover the commercial center

In the evening transfer to Plaka for a walking tour and dinner followed by a live music and dancing folklore show

After the end of dinner transfer back to your hotel- overnight in Athens

DAY 7: departure

Today after breakfast check out and transfer to Athens Airport.
