ATHENS - DELPHI - METEORA

ITINERARY

Day 1: Arrival Athens

Upon arrival at Athens International Airport meet with our representative and transfer to your hotel

Balance of the day at leisure and overnight in Athens

Day 2: Athens city tour with Acropolis and the New Acropolis Museum

Breakfast in the hotel

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel or near by spot and join a half-day guided tour of Athens, including a bus tour at the Panathenaic Stadium, the Presidential residence, the Temple of Olympian Zeus, the Hadrian’s Arch, the Parliament and the memorial of the Unknown Soldier, the Academy, the University, the National Library, the Constitution Square (Syntagma). Then you will proceed with a guided visit of the Acropolis and finally the New Acropolis Museum

After the end of the tour transfer back to your hotel for a free afternoon

Overnight in Athens

Day 3: Athens - Delphi - Kalambaka

Breakfast in your hotel

In the morning you will be picked up from your hotel or near by spot and join a 2 days tour to Delphi and Kalambaka (Meteora)
Leave for Delphi via Thebes, Levadia and Arachova village, on the slopes of Mount Parnassus. Arrive in Delphi and visit the Archaeological site

After the visit depart to Kalambaka, passing through the picturesque villages and towns of Central Greece

Dinner in the hotel and overnight in Kalambaka

Day 4: Kalambaka - Meteora tour - Athens

Breakfast in the hotel

In the morning you will visit the Meteora and enjoy this unique and most impressive scenery of the ageless Monasteries, containing priceless historical and religious treasures, standing between earth and sky on top of the huge rocks

The you will depart back to Athens via Trikala, Lamia, Thermopylae (short stop to see across the road the Leonida's Monument)

Arrive in Athens early in the evening - overnight in Athens

Day 5: departure

Breakfast in your hotel

Check out and transfer to the airport for your departure flight

The organize  2 Days Delphi- Meteora tour operates every Monday- Wednesday- Thursday and specific Saturdays of each month
