Ceremony Locations in Lindos
We are able to offer a choice of two superb locations for your wedding in Lindos - St Paul's Bay, or the Mini-Amphitheatre.

St Paul's Bay
St Paul is said to have first set foot here when he visited Rhodes, and have his name to this bay. This shimmering white Greek Orthodox church enjoys a stunning backdrop of glittering blue sea overlooked by the ancient acropolis. Ceremonies take place outside the Church in the courtyard.

Mini-Amphitheatre
The unique mini-amphitheatre has been built specifically for Greek festivals and weddings. It has the unrivalled backdrop of the Acropolis, and is a great location for photography.
Civil weddings only. Weddings in Lindos are available on any day of the week except Sundays.

Rhodes Town - Santa Maria Catholic Church
We are delighted to be able to offer Catholic Ceremonies, at the beautiful Santa Maria Catholic Church. The Santa Maria is built in the Italian style, and is located in the centre of Rhodes Town.
This is an exquisite Church, which boasts wonderful facilities. The site dates back to The Franciscans, who have been have been on the island of Rhodes since 1291, when they arrived with the Crusaders.

Father John Luke is the Vicar General and Parish Priest of the Archdiocese of Rhodes and will perform your Wedding ceremony. The Santa Maria also boasts a small but excellent choir who will sing beautifully at your wedding.

The organ is played by the talented Avery Hollingsworth; Avery has a selection of music, however if you have a specific request please bring the sheet music necessary. Any requested extras e.g. fireworks, photographer, hairdresser, flowers.

Wedding Details
Weddings take 45-50 minutes and are performed every day (except Sunday).
Mass services are held from April to October at 7 a.m. on weekdays and at 8 a.m., 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. on Sundays. During the winter months, both churches hold Masses only on Sundays.
Catholic ceremonies can only be performed if the bride and groom have not been previously married.
Father Luke is happy to perform baptisms the day prior to your wedding.
